Last Day to Get the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle 2016

Image
Since the deadline to get The Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle (2016 Edition) is TODAY, I’m getting SO many questions about it! Lots of people are asking for a comprehensive list of everything that’s included in the bundle, and I can understand why: it’s hard to keep up with everything I’ve been telling you about! So here’s everything you get when you buy The Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle: A comprehensive collection of 83 eBooks and eCourses covering almost everything you could want to know on how to keep yourself and your family in the best of health, including how to… use essential oils and natural remedies, cook real food your family will love, breathe new life into your exercise habits, raise exceptionally healthy kids in an unhealthy world, and so much more… A unique Getting Started Guide to help you pinpoint exactly which resources are right for you right now, so you can take action immediately. Over $250 worth of incredible (and mostly physical) bonus offers f...

What's In the Bundle?

Image
So yesterday the bundle launched, but it's a bit overwhelming. How on earth can you wade through all the material? It's kind of like trying to figure out how to actually live healthy. Do you ever feel overwhelmed by healthy living? It’s not that you don’t understand or agree with why it matters. You’re sold on the merits of eating whole foods, raising healthier kids, avoiding toxins and chemicals, getting fit, and using alternative remedies. But sometimes it’s a whole lot easier to say than to actually do, right? Believe me, I’ve had the same struggles and questions as you. What on earth do you eat (and especially, what do you feed your kids)? How do you afford to buy healthier products? And where do you find the time to make and do all this stuff? I know what it’s like to feel that healthy living shouldn’t be this hard, and it shouldn’t have to cost so much, either! Don’t you ever wish someone would just tell you exactly what you need to know and how to make these c...

Review: Ultimate Herbs & Essential Oils Bundle

Image
I don’t know if you’ve seen or not, but over the past few days I’ve been telling you about a collection of 20 herb and essential oil resources that I’m honored to be a part of. It’s called The Herbs & Essential Oils Super Bundle and it’s only on sale for 6 days. After that, it’s gone forever! You guys know I love my EOs (essential oils, for those of you who don't know the lingo) and I use them daily on both myself and my family. But I confess I'm not nearly as knowledgeable about herbs. As this bundle includes ebooks and ecourses about both, I was very excited to dive into some of the herb books, and as per the usual with Ultimate Bundle sales, they did not disappoint. The first thing I did was sign up for the 5 Multi-use Herbs (And What to Do with Them) eCourse. Yep, it's a course, and they send you a link to 5 videos about some common herbs, chamomile and rosemary, to name a couple. I use these both in oil format, but wasn't sure how to handle the actual p...

Ultimate Herbs & Essential Oils Bundle 2016!

Raise your hand if you’ve been let down by the conventional medical system. Me too! My oldest is special needs. Probably on the autism spectrum, although honestly we don't have an actual diagnosis of that yet, but similar sensory and social issues for sure. When he was 5 or so, a neurologist told us that really the only option to treat him medically was risperidone, which is basically an anti-psychotic. Even the neurologist told us that finding the right dosage was unlikely, and it only helped 20% of the time anyway. While David is certainly challenging, he isn't psychotic. I was pretty determined not to use a medicine that probably wouldn't work and would kill his liver eventually. I think there are lawsuits about risperidone now. (Check out these side effects!) I became "that mom" - the one that does all the crazy stuff to help her kid. Because honestly, it's only crazy if it doesn't work. We do all sorts of therapies, conventional and unconventiona...

Book Review: The Law of Attraction Saved My Life & It Can Save Yours

Image
The Law of Attraction Saved My Life & It Can Save Yours by Kenneth Griffin Jr My rating: 3 of 5 stars Have you ever seen that Saturday Night Live sketch with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton? Ok there were a few, but this one had Tina Fey optimistically saying something to the effect of, “You just gotta want it!” Which sends Amy Poehler into maniacal laughter responding (again to the effect of), “Oh, ok, that must be my problem, I just didn’t want it enough!” If you haven’t go watch it on Hulu , it’s hilarious. And completely honest, because we all know that no one - man or woman - has ever wanted to be President more than Hillary Clinton. If there was ever anyone who would be able to think herself to the Presidency, it’s Hillary. That sums up my ultimate reaction to this book. I have a cursory understanding of the law of attraction, although I fully admit it has never been a primary course of study for me. What intrigued me was the author’s prom...

Book Review: Taming Tigers

Image
Taming Tigers by Daisy White My rating: 4 of 5 stars Not all fairy tales are about finding the handsome prince. Sometimes he’s the ancillary character, and the real challenge is killing the evil king. But how is a poor seamstress to take on one of the most evil warlords in the region? Once again, Daisy White offers a strong female character rising above her circumstances to save the day. This one involves an actual physical journey in addition to a metaphoric one, and it is a harrowing journey full of ghosts, tigers and discoveries. I really enjoyed the love story being simultaneously central and peripheral, and the solution complicated. I’ve only just discovered Daisy White’s fiction but am thoroughly enjoying her grasp of complex situations and characters spun into a relatively short story. If you like engaging quick reads that leave far more to ponder than your typical YA fiction, I highly recommend anything by Daisy White. View all my reviews Please note, while there m...

Book Review: Veil of Darkness

Image
Veil of Darkness by T.C. Metivier My rating: 5 of 5 stars There has been peace for 800 years, but the growing Coalition threatens the Federation’s tenuous peace. There are whispered rumors, and those paying attention to other dimensions are feeling the growing evil creep nearer. Admiral Ortega knows that he must stop it at all cost, because he knows the man behind it. Roger knows it’s coming, but is too busy on his own quest to recognize his role. Justin and Austin are only just recognizing that their role is not just those of diplomats, but of key players in the unfolding drama. Will they be able to defeat the encroaching evil or will the prophecies be misread? Author Metiver has introduced a new universe full of species, politics, and space travel. While there are obvious elements common to sci-fi series (it’s hard to get away from a federation of planets and some sort of rebel coalition), he does a great job spinning a new tale in a new world with characters that are well plo...
